Of late I have had to shift a bit. Usually I play music with a theme related to my musings, but that has become difficult. One of the sites I have used for a long time no longer posts videos related to music and my search. YouTube stopped allowing video posting a long while back so I am down to one site for videos. Trying to find related songs is difficult. The other day I found only one. Yesterday I decided to post a variety of music. Today is the same. I have easily found what I was looking to find so I will continue to post whatever until I find sites where I can search and find videos by theme.

All of today’s songs are taken from the list of the top 100 from 1965.

Today’s music, like yesterday’s, will be posted when I get home from the concert. I don’t have time now. “Y’ll come back now, y’ hear?”

Yesterday I couldn’t post music. Today I have more than made up for it. I have posted my regular type songs, but I have also honored Harry Belafonte and his music. He died today at age 96.

I am taking the day off because I want to post tomorrow on St. Patrick’s Day. I could post both days I know, but a bit of a back rest day is a great idea, necessary actually. I’ll sit on the couch with a pillow behind my back, drink coffee and eat bonbons! See you tomorrow!

Two bits of information, the first related to comments. I used to get notified if anyone posted a comment then I’d go read and answer. I am no longer being notified. I checked how to fix it but nothing was wrong as far as the help told me so… now I go online to check for comments. I’m hoping as strangely as it disappeared it might reappear.

The second comment relates to today’s music theme. I was going to ask for guesses, and I know a few of you would have seen the answer right away. As for the rest of you, I’ll help.

I went looking for songs with present/s in the title. I seemed to have used most of them then a new page jumped into the queue. It was about the present prefect tense and classic songs. I took two then went looking for more, and I found two more so here it is, today’s theme: the present perfect tense. Enjoy!!

Tom Petty, the dynamic and iconoclastic frontman who led the band the Heartbreakers, died Monday. He was 66. Petty’s death was confirmed by Tony Dimitriades, longtime manager of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, on behalf of the family.

“On behalf of the Tom Petty family, we are devastated to announce the untimely death of of our father, husband, brother, leader and friend Tom Petty,” Dimitriades wrote. “He suffered cardiac arrest at his home in Malibu in the early hours of this morning and was taken to UCLA Medical Center but could not be revived. He died peacefully at 8:40 p.m. PT surrounded by family, his bandmates and friends.”

Coffee will probably be among the missing tomorrow. I’m having Laser Trabeculoplast which is more commonly done for glaucoma to relieve pressure. I had a simpler version earlier of the same thing, but it didn’t take. For 99% of the people that first procedure is enough. The doctor told me this one is more painful during and after so I figure I won’t want to be typing. Talk to you on Thursday!
