When I went back to Ghana the first time, my students and I got together for dinner on my last night. As they were leaving they told me they wanted to sing Miss Ryan’s song which they had been singing for forty years whenever they’d get together for weddings and parties. This is the song they sang.

Here is the story behind today’s songs. You know I usually try to match my music with something from my musings. Today I got nowhere. Finally, in desperation, I put into Go Duck Go a request for weird songs from the 60’s. All of these came from that list.
