Fontella Bass died this week. She was 72. I remember this song of hers more than any other!

Last night I watched The Kennedy Center Honors and Led Zeppelin was one of the honorees. This song brought down the house. Ann and Nancy Wilson sang the song backed by a gospel choir and with the late John Bonham’s son, Jason Bonham, on drums. My favorite scene from the audience during this song was Yo Yo Ma’s head bopping with the music.
