“What terrified me will terrify others; and I need only describe the spectre which had haunted my midnight pillow.”

I am possessed. There is no other way to describe it. I think it is by some old lady who spent her life cleaning homes or buildings. I have proof. Yesterday I attacked and cleaned one of my biggest cabinets. I was tired of stuff falling out every time I was looking for something so I took everything out. In the way back of the cabinet I found all of the chewed pieces of paper from when the mouse lived there. That was disgusting. I also found half-filled bottles of the same thing so I poured and managed to throw away the empty duplicates. I found stuff I didn’t even know I had. Who needs three aluminum foil boxes? Obviously I do. How about two unopened boxes of Cling Wrap? Last week my nephew wanted 3 in 1 oil which I knew I had but he couldn’t find. Well, I have three of those. I also found lemon oil which is on my shopping list. That led to the next chore.

I oiled the old desk in my bathroom. You probably wonder why a desk is in my bathroom. Well, it is a small narrow, pull down front desk, and I keep my guests linen there. That bathroom has a school theme. No, it is not a reflection on my education!

Next, I mineraled oiled the butcher block in my kitchen then I noticed my dining room table. It has a stain but no finish so out came the lemon oil and I oiled the table and a small stool.

I want the haunting to stop and I want the old lady gone. It is not me to tackle such obscure tasks. The most I usually do is use my sleeve to dust and I’m quite happy with that accomplishment; however, I can hear another couple of cabinets calling me, and I’m forcing myself to stay away from them. I know the old lady is itching for me to get at them.

All of that work and staying up too late caused me to sleep until eleven; that’s right eleven. It was a put a mirror under her nose to see if she’s breathing sort of morning. The animals stayed right with me.

I do have to go out as I have a short list of things I need. What is going on? Here I am cleaning and now grocery shopping. I need an exorcist.

I hope this spring-cleaning-disease is not infectious via internet.
Have a good and fast reconvalescence πŸ˜‰

      Birgit,
I wonder if there is a shot I can get? I had a flu shot so maybe there is one I can get to stop the cleaning bug.

I know that I need to be possessed to do all those things πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Is it possible to buy holy water anywhere πŸ™‚ Perhaps go by a church to get some for the exorcism πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

I’ve been out watching the five planets we can see without any telescopes now. Well I think I saw all five but I’m not sure about Mercury, that could have been a star πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Jupiter and Mars is easy because of their color but Saturn I would have missed if they hadn’t show where it is in the news papers πŸ™‚ How I wish I could travel out there to see the closer πŸ™‚

    Have a great day!
    Christer.

I just realized that I haven’t been looking at Jupiter at all but a star πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ I understood that when I read that it looks like Jupiter and Venus is really close and will pass each other. They look like twon really bright stars πŸ™‚

      Christer,
I can get holy water at the church but I think it works on vampires.

You’re right about many of the planets visible. The paper had an article about it the other day and included a star chart so I’d know what I was looking at.

I too wish I could travel to the stars!

I know I am possessed, in more ways then I care to think about. I am wearing ear plugs so I don’t have to listen to the voices.
    Waving,
    Lori

      Lori,
I figure hearing voices means you’ll never be alone! Your ear plugs might be blocking a great conversation.

      Waving!

    Hi Kat,
When you are done with the exorcist send him up to me. Yesterday, yes yesterday beautiful yesterday, I decided to organize my knitting. I started with the projects that are partly done. Many hours later I have one large bin full of partly done things neatly catalogued to the best of my ability. Some of the things are not only unfinished but unidentified and I don’t remember what they are supposed to be. It’s written down somewhere. I am appalled to find that I have at least 8 sweaters on the needles and no where near finished. I still have a strong desire to organize my supplies. Please someone stop me. It must be spring.
Enjoy the day and stay away from those cabinets. πŸ™‚

      Hi Caryn,
Oops, you caught the same bug I did. I wish I could help but I have my eyes on a couple of cabinets: one in the kitchen and the other one under the sink upstairs.

I don’t remember having caught this bug before. I wish I could help!!

I did a bunch of errands today including a stop at the grocery store for a few things I’d run out of and hadn’t put on my list. I actually thought I’d do the upstairs cabinet just before I go to bed.

There must be a support group.

Spring cleaning! OMG! What happened to winter? It must be the switch to daylight savings time that did it. I haven’t even started last year’s cleaning. I have a closet in our spare bedroom, we call it the office but it’s really a junk room, that I have been promising myself to clean out for about five years. I could spend all summer in the office throwing away things. I can’t start to really clean the house because all the junk is in the way. What’s the use of moving the junk from one place to another just to clean the shelf it’s cluttering? It’s a better choice to have dirt blindness. It’s dirty but blissful.

    • Kat Says:

      Bob,
This is not a usual spring event for me. Something grabbed hold and off I went. I really do have a few more cabinets to finish,

This room sounds like your room. It is filled with books, cd’s, my compuetrs and more things than I care to think about. It is the only room in the house which hasn’t been redone and will probably stay that way!

  7. Zoey & Me Says:

My first guess is you’re getting things ready for St Patty’s Day. Right?

    • kat Says:

      Z&Me,
That would be a wonderful guess! I need the house neat and tidy when the wee folk visit.

Today I was at it again!

  8. splendid Says:

blame it on Saint Patty! yes! glad you ‘re spry and energized!
    oxoxoxoxoxoxo

    • kat Says:

      splendid,
It is true. Lately I’ve not had the urge to do much. This week, though, has been different. I seem to do a weird chore every day!
