Today is a mishmash of music befitting my mood. This one has always been a favorite and even though Buffy got the hit, I love Patrick’s version.  I always figure the writer knows the mood, and we get to hear it when he sings.

This is one of those songs you know but don't know much about. Well, Patrick Sky wrote it, and it appears on his self-titled first album released in 1965.

Sky played with Buffy Sainte-Marie for a while, and she released an album the same year with this as the title song.
