This is from the album An Evening with Belafonte and Makeba. It was originally released in 1965 and was re-released in 2003. The album dealt with the political plight of black South Africans under apartheid, and the songs are all sung in Xhosa, Zulu, Sotho or Swahili. It won a Grammy in 1966 for Best Folk Recording.
