Today’s Music
November 2, 2024All of today’s songs charted in 1969, the year my Peace Corps story began in Philadelphia. It was an amazing year for me.
Today’s Music
October 24, 2024I know. I have probably thrown you from a loop. Usually my music has a theme connected to the musing of the day but not today except in a roundabout way. I decided to go back in time, sort of the theme of parts of today’s Coffee I guess, to the 6o’s. I remembered all but one of my choices, the first one. Enjoy!
Good Morning!
October 20, 2024Coffee is on hiatus today. I have an early concert in Hyannis so I haven’t enough time. The concert is outside, and weather is just right. What a lovely way to start a Sunday!
”The world’s most famous and popular language is music.”
September 28, 2024This morning I don’t have time to write and post Coffee. I have an early concert. It is outside so I am hoping it will get just a bit warmer. Right now it is only 63° and cloudy though I do see sunlight breaking through those clouds. My house is still chilly from last night. It is the time of year when outside is often warmer than inside the house.
I’ll be back tomorrow!
Music, Music,Music
September 22, 2024You’re probably wondering what the music’s theme is today. I’d probably call the theme either forgotten or not well known. Tammi Terrell you probably know but not as a single.
“The moon, like a flower in heaven’s high bower, With silent delight sits and smiles on the night.”
August 19, 2024The sky is so cloudy now I am a bit sad. I was hoping for a clear night because there is a rare super blue moon so if you are lucky enough to have a bright, clear night, don’t miss tonight’s glorious moon.
“Take rest; a field that has rested gives a bountiful crop.”
August 13, 2024Today I am taking a bit of a break. Nothing is wrong except my to-do list is far too long. (How poetic!) The list never shortens. I run out of time. I add more. I’m still waiting for those elves to sneak in while we’re all sleeping so they can clean the house and fix what’s gone awry. I love playing the uke, but lately it has taken much of my spare time. This week 5 concerts, practice and my lesson are scheduled, but I will skip the last two concerts to give my fingers a break.
I will be back bright and early on Thursday. Okay, not that early and probably not even that bright.
