Wow! Two in one day!
I loved the Jim Kweskin Jug Band’s recording of this on their 1967 “See Reverse Side For Title”. ( “Here come the harm-a-not-tra” )
It falls right into Kweskin’s and Geoff Muldaur’s love of this style. The Muldaurs vocalize, but the whole band swings it.
Maria Muldaur covered it again on one of her albums, as I recall…

I didn’t find this by Jim Kweskin on the sites which let me post. I looked on YouTube, found it but wasn’t allowed to post it. This version is actually the first recording of the song.
I get really frustrated when I am looking for a specific artist singing a song I really want to post. YouTube blocks so many. Sometimes I am lucky so I keep trying. DailyMotion is my go to site but I don’t always find what I want.
I appreciate your postings. You usually post exactly what I was looking for in the first place!! Thanks!
when I read KTCC on my older ipad, the daily motion links don’t work…I still read your posts often, but I don’t hear them until I’m on the good ol’ desktop!
They play on my iPad as I check them before I publish. I checked my old iPad, and they won’t play on it. I guess the operating system is a bit ancient. My Mac is in need of repair so I have been using my iPad. The bright spot has been I have learned so much about using an iPad.
