I really don’t like Jethro Tull, but strangely I buy their box set reissues, maybe play them once and put them away. Why on earth would I do that ?
Well once upon a time I had a very close school friend who loved Tull. I played him The Faces and he insisted on Tull. We spent a lot of time together and then the friendship crashed and burned. He had found the “born again” , I didn’t fit and that was it
Today we chat and reflect on what blew up our friendship. We use Tulling as a verb. So reflective of a friendship I once valued…I buy Jethro Tull.

MDH,
Like you, I don’t like Jethro Tull, but I still listen. It is a haunting sort of thing.
You, at least, have a good reason to listen to Jethro Tull.
