Besides the ugly wallpaper and scrawny tree, everyone looks posed and dressed to open the gifts. I imagine in most people’s houses everyone is up in their pajamas and bathrobes tearing open the gifts. After all, keeping the economy going is a major part of the holiday season.

Ever the cynic. I don’t think about what I buy, what I spend. I spread it around, much of it this year to small stores to keep them going, and I shop locally.
Really ugly wallpaper.
I looked at this picture for a while trying to figure out the family. The father is easy. Is that the mother on the chair but who’s next to the guy?

Think the mother is sitting to the right of the tree and the woman sitting next to the man is a grandmother. Just my guess.
