    One of my favorite singers. I always thought he was underrated as both a drummer and a vocalist.

      Nomad,
      I always thought he had a “sweet” voice. I think people tended to lump him with singers like Manilow whom I aways thought was more pop than craft..

        I agree. And his last few albums fell off a bit. But during his Genesis days and early solo csreer are very good.

        One of the sad parts of most singers’ careers is when their voices start to reflect their ages and they lose the high notes. I can only imagine how difficult it is recognizing that you can’t sing as you did.
