minicapt,
Not knowing what was coming had to have caused a large loss of life and the destruction of so many homes and businesses. Now people can evacuate ahead of the storm and in some ways protect their homes.

Gnu,
You picked another great one. I always think of this as one of the best protest songs because of Sam’s sweet voice. ;

Gnu,
This about the worst video. They are all crammed together on stage and the lip-synced is either missing or totally out of sync.
What’s with the guy in the suit?

Gnu,
This one had a couple of lives. It was a hit in my day then it reappeared in my sister’s day. I think this is the first time I’ve seen Bobby Pickett. He is fun to watch.

Gnu,
This isn another song I remember well. I went looking to get more info about this song. Sonny Curtis wrote it and was the first to record it, but his did not become a hit.
Just six months after the song made its first appearance on the Billboard Top 100 chart, Bobby Fuller was found dead from asphyxiation in his mother’s car in a parking lot near his Los Angeles, California apartment. The Los Angeles Police Department declared the death an apparent suicide, but others believed him to have been murdered. Fuller was 23 years old.

Gnu,
This is another singer I haven’t ever heard before this. I’m not sure about her yet.
