      Gnu,
Thanks for this! I love the Spinners, and this is great. Their outfits are wonderful. There are no groups like this anymore!!

      Gnu,
Okay, it seems as if I lived in the cave during 1975 as well. I know War but not this song.

You seem to find the songs I missed. Thanks for that!

      Gnu,
This is wonderful in the way it portrays the 50’s. I love the relaxing clothes the daughter puts on, another dress of course. Brother takes care of Junior and he tries to keep father relaxed. He seats his mother as if she were his best girl. The whole family is so well dressed. There is no discord.

Brother has to teach Junior table manners. Father and mother eat first and guide the conversation with each other.

This was amazing!! We should have showed it to my family when I was a kid because none of us ever acted so nicely or well behaved!

What planet was this on? It’s like a sci-fi movie to me. I don’t think it was ever like this in any home I knew.

        im6,
It wasn’t like that in my house either. When I got comfortable after school, I never changed to another dress. My brother was a jerk and still is. My little sisters drove me crazy growing up though now I enjoy both of them. Nope, not my house either.

      Gnu,
I like this song for its quirkiness. The lead singer has such a neat sort of different voice.

I remember the original with the megaphone.

      im6,
This was great. Nothing beats a Busby Berkley on Oscar night. It is definitely a Hurray for Hollywood night.

I’d have fallen out of the car with or without an instrument and been run over by the car behind me.

The Oscars just finished. The crowd was shocked by Spotlight winning best picture. I saw only two of the films including the winner and The Martian. Spotlight had a personal interest for me. Father Shanley, one of the worst pedophile of them all, was a priest in my parish. He molested classmates of mine.
