Sara Coleridge quote

Phil Lynott married Caroline, the daughter of Leslie Crowther the British comedian. The story goes that when Phil asked Leslie for his daughter’s hand, Leslie responded “you have had everything else so you might as well have that”
Lynott died 30 years ago today beset by drug and alcohol problems at the age of 36. Van Morrison ? The Undertones ? U2? Rory Gallagher ? and arguably the best band of out Ireland (Dublin) was Thin Lizzy. So I dodged “Killer on the Loose” and “Jailbreak” and “The Boys are Back in Town” and here is “Dancing in the Moonlight”

Hedley, funny coincidence down memory lane, Thin Lizzy here and a Joan Baez concert on the radio. The first single I ever bought was by Thin Lizzy (Whiskey in the Jar) and my first self-bought LP was most probably by Joan Baez.

My Dear Hedley,
I haven’t heard of Thin Lizzie, but I think I should have as I do like this song.
It is sad, today’s anniversary. Drug and alcohol problems have taken so many.

If the picture was of a parade square, several trees would be on report for being out-of-line.
Cheers

minicapt,
I didn’t notice the odd alignment until your comment. The inside row is way, way off.
