*(&*^%^%$$%*#@!!

I figure Birgit heard my cursing all the way to Germany. I was looking for a quote when I went off-line. I called my cable company and spoke to three people who knew nothing. To add to their nothingness, I got cut off twice. Finally I got a guy who wanted me to do what I had already done so I let him have it. He told me to vent all I needed which was kind. He, however, did not solve my problem. It was not the modem so he said goodbye and good luck. I wanted to punch him. I called my sister and had her go on-line to my router company, and she carefully read their procedures. They worked. The guy was right. It was not my modem. It took from 11:40 until 1:50 for me to rejoin the world wide web.

Yup, I was wondering why I heard something like *(&*^%^%$$%*#@!! while working in the front yard (5th bag of cut ivy) and mistakenly blamed the magpies. Sorry magpies!
Another proof that cursing helps, you’re online 🙂

I did think I heard something up here in the north too 🙂 I just had some computer/internet problems too and the problem really didn’t get solved but things work anyway now 🙂

      Christer,
It wouldn’t surprise me if you heard me. I was pretty darn frustrated until I was able to have my sister look-up what I needed or I’d still be sitting here cursing.

This is the same reason why I left Micro$oft. One day my computer started acting up so I pulled the recovery CDs and tried to run them (100% original and legit BTW). Got a message stating that they were fakes and directing me to call tech support at Micro$oft. I did, and after “interacting” with a robot for almost 30 min finally got a (human) being. Five minutes in the conversation I got disconnected. Called again, exact same routine with exact same outcome. Got so pissed that I threw in the trash everything Micro$oft and installed Linux. Life is good now, and as far as I am concerned, Micro$oft can burn in Hell forever.

      Tukulito,
I now have all Apple products and would never consider going back to Microsoft. I have found the MAC easy to work with and any problems tend to be easily corrected. I don’t much know about Linux which is why I chose Apple.

The only cable available to me is Comcast. If I want an alternative, it has to be Dish. Comcast drops calls, has a script people work with and seldom resolve issues for me. According to them, most of the problems are from my equipment: my phone and my router. I replaced the phone and still had the problem. It was Comcast, and I was out the money for an unnecessary new phone. I’ll send Comcast right along with Microsoft to burn in hell forever.

      Lori,
I admit it was my potty mouth spewing invectives across the universe. I was just so frustrated.

      Waving back!
