    Tons of NLCR tunes here

7-Zip (free) will extract .rar files quite nicely. This site is mostly bluegrass, not much in the way of folk stuff, but you can look through the artists. Got some Seeger stuff and Norman Blake, which is on the folksy side. I noted that a lot of the NLCR pages didn’t have a file, which is unusual for the site. 95% + of the pages have a file or a link.

Try NLCR’s Browns Ferry Blues (Delmore Bros. tune). I drive down Brown Ferry Road 5 days a week going to work. Not a ferry there anymore.

      Spaceman,
I didn’t take time the to go through the files though I did check out the artist list on the right.

I like bluegrass so I’ll be happy for the hunt. I admit I wasn’t a fan for a long while but then it sort of grew on me. My files have quite a few bluegrass songs.

Can you see where the ferry was?

Well Miss Katry, the TVA built Wheeler Dam a good while back when that Mr. Roosevelt feller was prez. So it’s a reservoir now. About all I know about the ferry is the road & the Delmores. Would be a good thing for me to research a bit. You may recollect that TVA did save George Clooney near the end of “Brother, Where art, Thou” via the waters rushing in.

Anyway, got to head out…Have a good un.
