   Maggie bolted this morning, hysteria in the household and then Maggie came back – when you are a Westie you never lose that desire to go wandering.

     My Dear Hedley,
     I totally understand the hysteria. I lost Gracie from 1 to 2:30 one morning when she went over the fence. I thought she was gone forever.

     Darci, my friends’ Westie, has also had her turn at bolting, but unlike Maggie, Darci has to be corralled. She doesn’t come back but keeps on running. Luckily her escapes are rare.

     Good for Maggie!
