Wow. I really enjoyed this track. I never heard of the band until now. Impossible not to tap feet and jiggle about to this. Definitely on my liked songs list now.

      Peter,

It is definitely a toe tapper. The song is just fun. I also love the album art. I’m happy to add to your song list!

Thanks Kat. I will listen to more music by Oingo Boingo. Sadly, I doubt the Scottish football supporters will be feeling like tapping their feet today.

        Peter,
I even watched that game. I was so disappointed. Now there is a move afoot to push to play American football in Glasgow, the New England Patriots.

Scottish nationalism is a big thing there for many. I’d be surprised if the word “English” was acceptable to them. I visited Scotland many, many times, mainly to climb its mountains, and on two occasions suffered minor examples of abuse because I am English.

        Peter,
I think we all saw the Scottish nationalism on display. It was so wonderfully enthusiastic. I’ve only been to Scotland once. I was there for a couple of weeks. I did not climb any mountains!

We used to live in Carlisle, close to the border. My wife and I drove up to the Highlands at every opportunity as we were avid hillwalkers. We spent many weekends and longer periods pursuing our adventures there. Eventually we had climbed all 284 of the highest mountains, known as The Munros.

I haven’t really done much climbing. I have climbed the Provincetown dunes. Sand dunes do not make for easy climbing. I did go to Machu Picchu but only climbed hills.

I envy you Machu Pichu. Never made it to South America.

I will say goodnight now as it is almost 11.30 pm here.

One summer I landed in Caracas and almost 8 weeks later took off from Rio. It was the most amazing summer. I planned the whole trip nd traveled with a friend. The only thing we didn’t get to do was to ride the world’s highest cable cars. We were in line but the cars were halted because of the wind. We waitied another day then had to leave and move on.
