Too much of a coincidence. Last night I went to a football (soccer) match near where I live. Noel Gallagher was sitting just four rows behind me. We support the same team, that is, Manchester City. I’m not a big fan of Oasis, but I admire their success and taste in football teams. P.S. The match was drawn, one all.
I had taken a neighbour and her 14-year-old son to the game. It was their first ever attendance at a top-class football match. The boy is a Manchester City fan; his brother supports Liverpool. I don’t know why, as we all live at least two hundred miles from those cities. Finding ourselves so close to a famous and successful musician possibly added to the experience.
What a neat experience. I rememember taking my nephews, two of whom live in Colorado while the other two live here on the cape, to their first Fenway Park games. They were so very excited. I expect just being at the game for your neighbors was just as exciting.
The boys still talk about their first game at Fenway.
I just sent you a video of The Cape Cod Ukulele Band singing Going to the Chapel. It was around Valentine’s Day so we were all decked out ( we usually are).
It is great to encourage others to new experiences.
This afternoon I am taking an 87-year-old lady, a neighbour, to a local group production of We Will Rock You. Though not great fans of Queen, it’s hard to resist some of their great tracks.

Peter,
It would never have recognized Noel Gallagher. I do know your football is our soccer. Our football has no similarity for you.
I agree it is a heck of a coincidence, maybe even a bit eerie!!

These are likely to be memorable events for all concerned.

Peter,
My friends and I used to have great fun together. We tried new things, new foods and new places. I miss them dearly.
My now friends and I tend to do the usual but the usual includes new restaurants and lots of laughs. We play our ukes together. They have become dear.
