I loved this record. As an aspirant guitarist, it was an early one to learn. I have an ancient copy of The Penguin Book of American Folk Songs. Unfortunately some of the pages are now missing, including page 135, the one with this song on it.

Thanks for that reference. That is the book, compiled by Alan Lomax. I may have had my copy since 1967.
