I can hardly put into words how much I adore Nick Drake’s songs. Tears well up whenever I hear his music. I still grieve for the talented, tormented young man who died so young. It’s great that you have sunny weather today, and so do we. Today, we took the short ferry ride from Sandbanks to Shell Beach and walked on the sand for around 3 miles to the National Trust café at the southern end of Studland Bay. We had hot chocolate and fruit scones with cream and blackberry jam. After returning the same way, I am very tired this evening. Thankfully, my football team, Manchester City, is on TV tonight. I’ll probably fall asleep watching the game.
