When we first began training pilots from China in 1994, they sent us a translator. In those days Chinese pilots ran their airplanes speaking Mandarin. The translator was a young woman named, Ho. Whenever anyone passed her in the hallway they would say to her, “Hi Ho”. She never got it. 🙂
