Here is good old Richard but Richard and Linda Thompson were sublime. All those years ago I bought “I want to see the bright lights tonight” but honestly didn’t get it and the album was released at a time where they seemed out of step.
Out there is a marvelous box set called “Hard Luck Stories” which is a revelation.

I agree about Linda and Richard, and I also agree this is a good one. I don’t think I ever bought an album of theirs only because I didn’t give them the attention they deserved.
