I just read an article that said that church attendance in this country is way down. You couldn’t tell it by the fullness of the church parking lots while driving around this morning. Of course I live in Texas, which is the buckle of the Bible Belt. It’s the land of White Southern Baptists and Methodist churches who are pulling out of the United Methodist group over LBGT rights. I especially enjoy the following from Ron Reagan, son of former President Ronald Reagan and Nancy Reagan.

I remember seeing his earlier commercial on TV.
I haven’t been around churches on a Sunday so I haven’t see the lots and churches. The cape has more Protestant churches than anything else, but the larger towns do have one Catholic church. The one here in Dennis is only open during the summer, but the towns on each side of Dennis do each have a church.
