Hi Kat,
After a tremendous downpour of rain right before dawn, the day was spectacular. Besides a clear blue sky, we hit a high temperature of 72°. WOW!
I will not bore you with my annual thoughts about Valentine’s Day. 🙂
Tonight we did our regular dinner out at Rosa’s Cafe. It’s Taco Tuesday and we get two taco dinners. Each one contains three tacos (Beef or Chicken), rice, beans, and flour tortillas. Two dinners for about $12. The surprising thing tonight was how many older folks were eating with young kids. I guess the grand parents took the kids out to dinner so some parents could go out for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner. After 37 years of marriage, we went for the Taco Tuesday special. 🙂

Hi Bob,
We were in the low 40’s today. I just watched the local news at 11. Tomorrow will be in the 50’s. Last year at this time we were 30° and shoveling 6 inches of snow. Saturday may set a new record for warmth.
Thank you!!!
Those tacos sound great except for the beans. I made tacos for dinner the other night. Tortillas are a staple of mine. I keep them, Mexican cheese, jalapeños and seasonings on hand. The other night I made steak tacos.
That is a kindness taking the grandkids out to dinner. My sister and brother-in-law take their grandkids all the time.
I figure going out to dinner on Valentine’s Day is a great way to celebrate!!
