Its strange Kat, as big of a Dylan fan as I am, I have never been able to connect with “Lay Lady, Lay” to the extent that i would venture that I dont like it.
It seems increasingly unlikely that Dylan is going to announce Bootleg Series 17 for the holidays. It is supposed to a look at “Time out of Mind” . I think he is preoccupied with his new book
try this 1976 live version on for size.
Good band behind him (great pedal steel!), a creative shift in melody, and a song rooted in the mixed ethics of the early 70s.

MDH,
I always thought this was a strange Dylan song so unlike his usual music. It took me a while to like it, sort of like it.
Mrs. MDH might just have one of your presents!

J,
This is almost an extravaganza. It is such a different song, heightened by the band behind him and his own voice. I am amazed. I like it!! Thanks!
