I couldn’t resist posting this. I love it was from the Hour of Charm. Phil Spitalny was a Ukrainian-American musician, music critic, composer, and bandleader heard often on radio during the 1930s and 1940s. He rose to fame after he led an all-female orchestra, a novelty at the time.

I couldn’t resist this video. I loved the trumpet ending. I was surprised a second video was attached to the first. At least we get a chance to see the all-female band. Spitnaly has an interesting bio. That he was Ukrainian was an added plus.
