    I love fried dough of any kind. From the simple powered sugar covered Beignets from the Cafe Du Mond in New Orleans to the super sweet glazed ones from Krispy Kreme. If someone figured out that they were healthy, then I would eat them every day. 🙂

      My mother used to fry dough for our meatless Friday night suppers. We’d top them with salt and butter. My cousin said her mother fried the dough as well for dinner, but they topped it with sugar and cinnamon. Same dough-two approaches.
