The Magnetic Fields were in town and they switched the venue from Redford to Pontiac. This was perfect for me as it was relatively close and they had sold nothing in Redford
I was woofing with Claudia (Gonson) before the show about how many would attend. She said if we got over a certain number (don’t remember how many) she would one day play “ The Death of Ferdinand de Saussure” for me on piano.
The room was packed, I was clutching a signed poster and now continue to wait anxiously for Claudia to summon me. Seen them a few times and those wonderful soaring moments always happen.
Love Love Love that you are playing The Magnetic Fields Kat, thank you and big hugs from north of Detroit.

You have the most wonderful stories about music and musicians. I envy all the concerts you’ve seen.
I really like The Magnetic Fields and have enjoyed every song I’ve posted. The more I listen the more I like them. It is amazing it took me this long.
I love “soaring moments.” I know that feeling. It’s unbeatable.
You know you are welcome.
