Nanci Griffith has always been in the pantheon of artists beloved by KTCC and its followers. Over the last few years her absence from performance, both live and recording has caused speculation about her health and whereabouts. Now we know that at the age of 68 she has left us.
We saw her twice in Ann Arbor, once at the Michigan theater and once at a festival event at the Ark.
There was so much to love and enjoy and such a feeling of sadness that she has passed. A true star she was and her music will continue to shine brightly
