Mrs MDH and I were in Los Angeles in the very early 80s and headed for the Tower Records on Sunset Strip. It was like we (me) had won the lottery, I walked out with a bundle of vinyl including REMs “Murmur” . I was smitten by Radio Free Europe and bought absolutely everything they released.
Loved the albums, played them until the vinyl and CDs “wore out”. Strangely I never go back to it or by the new expanded versions. Perhaps somehow it just sounds dated. I dunno.

MDH,
I used to shop at Tower Records in Boston. The number of albums was overwhelming. I never left empty handed.
It is a bit strange you never went back. Maybe as the vinyl and CD’s wore away, so did your enjoyment.
