I think I like it but it’s an odd record. Trying to wrap my head around the image of the ladies in question marching. đŸ˜‰ I see that these guys were from Memphis but the whole sound feels a little English from the same period—those sort of staid, buttoned-down horns especially. I can imagine Dusty Springfield in the next studio.
As soon as the song started, it sounded vaguely familiar, but that was it. This song is from 1968. I just don’t remember it, but I liked it enough to post it.
