I travelled a very long way with Messrs Becker and Fagen waiting very anxiously for each new release right up until Aja. When they toured it was usually with a band of extraordinary talents and a great night was enjoyed by all. Fagen’s personal reputation was massively enhanced by “The Nightfly” which garnered endless plays and awards.
Really didnt expect that much from the band after Aja and so it was.. Walter Becker died in 2017, he often seemed lazy on stage but that was unfair. Fagen hit the road as Steely Dan with a group of less than stellar musicians and the show was massively underwhelming. I last saw them in August 2019 at Meadowbrook and that will be my last date with them.
Pretzel Logic, Countdown, Katy, Royal Scam , some flat out wonderful records that aged very well

I am no longer surprised by your concert pedigree. You have amazingly, for the most part, seen some of the best musicians and bands of all time, ever.
I liked this song when I heard it today. Also, it fit my theme, and I was tired of looking. I don’t know which came first.
