Not sure if you have access to HBO Max, but if you do, you might want to consider watching the Channel 4 (UK) 5-part series, “It’s A Sin.” Turned out to be their most popular series of all time. The connection is that the final episode was called “Everybody Hurts” and the show closes with this song. This is a pretty amazing record to hold considering it’s a show about AIDS in the 1980s. Not a show one “enjoys,” but it was interesting even though I did have some problems with it. Was intended to be a 7-parter, but they only had money for 5, so it all seems a bit rushed. And the “who dies this week?” Not a recommendation, but not not a recommendation either.
I do have HBO Max so I can hunt down “It’s a Sin, but” I think I need to see it when my mood is better. I’m reading what they call cozy mysteries and watching movies with black and white monsters or the sappy ones on Hallmark. I need good humor.
“It’s a Sin” is definitely not a series that’s going to cheer you up. Very well done but with the subject matter comes a lot of painful gut wrenching just like most of the 80s were for too many people. It ranks about a 2 on the fun meter.

I figured as much. The subject didn’t sound cheery at all. I’ll wait.
