I know that Lamas make great pack animals, but I’ve never seen them being ridden. The Inca army attacked their enemy from the backs of short Lamas. 🙂 They’re not as imposing as a man on horseback.

I liked this picture because it looks so regimented as if the llamas and their riders were were totally comfortable with each other. I can see the stirrups so I wonder what sort of saddle they used. I saw so many llamas in the Andes.
