Turkeys are dumb birds, no question. A flock lives around my neighborhood. Years ago they decided to reintroduce turkeys to Cape Cod. It was soooo successful. They are everywhere and take their time crossing a road. Why did the turkey cross the road?He doesn’t even know!!

Yes, supposedly turkeys standing in a rain shower will look up to the sky and stare with their mouths open until they drown. 🙂

I thought that was true but when I looked it up, its isn’t.
Wild turkeys can fly but only for short spurts. Around here, they sleep on a tree bough.
