We watched the ABC special last night about John Lennon. I learned a lot about him that I didn’t know. Sadly, a nut case with a gun ended the music that his genius might have produced in the last 40 years. And this was in NYC that has some of the toughest handgun laws.
I remember going to an assistant principal’s conference in San Diego at the height of school shootings. The speaker put on the screen every day plans for safety from two schools including lock downs of the lot after a certain hour, locked doors, adding safety personnel and cameras. These were all in place when shooters killed students in each of the two schools. Crazies will find a way.
Kat,
Let’s hope and work for better days.( Those were the days!) It is one of the reason I don’t believe in guns. Yes, crazies will find a way, let’s jut make it harder on them. We have one for our not president.
Peace and Love,
