Now this is Lenny at his finest. So much so I am almost willing to forgive the Hole in my Bucket disaster of yesterday
I bought “Songs of Leonard Cohen” in Switzerland, very early on in my music collecting days. As with many early purchases, I think it was to show my “numerous” female admirers that I had a sensitive and thoughtful side.
Most strangely, as I played the disc to a willing audience, I wondered what it would be like to jump off a bridge. As my audience dwindled down to 0 , I cast aside any pretext of thoughtfulness and headed to Rod Stewart and the Faces and The Who. Had zero impact on my dating habits but boy did I enjoy the music
Thank you Lenny – you are missed.

My Dear Hedley,
I chose to post one of my favorite songs from that very album. It was the first time I’d heard of Lenny, and I was smitten with his music. I’m glad, in your early days, you actually enjoyed Lenny.
See, I didn’t forget (thanks to the post-it note on my table).

Kat, I didn’t actually say I liked it, I said I bought it and probably with not the best intentions.
Our boy has not been featured on KTCC in months – he did much better when he was not an Ex Lenny.
