I could go for Simon and Cohen. I would be a very rich man. I dated a girl in high school in NYC named Garfunkel amd I think she was a second cousin of Art. Regardless, this is my favorite Simon and Garfunkel song.
At first I was upset as they were among my favorites even to taking up room in my suitcase to Ghana, but like you, over time, I came to like Paul Simon alone; however, I still believe some songs of theirs are meant to be sung together. This is one of them.

Would I have been happier with
Simon and Cohen ?
Simon and Mitchell ?
Lennie and Paulie ?
I know, I am mean to Art, but he sure did get a lot of mileage out of his name

With a name like Garfunkel, he should get a lot of mileage.

Solid dating
My favorite Simon and Garfunkel songs are the ones without Art.

They sound more like a comedy duo as Simon and Cohen.
I guess Garfunkel isn’t a common name. This is in my top five, the top of which changes when I hear certain songs, this being one of them.

Kat, You had Joni’s “Clouds” in Ghana, that and trips to the sacred Croc pond should have been enough

I also had a Peter, Paul and Mary, Album 1700, Joni, S&G’s Bookends and later my sister sent Deja Vu. I was blessed with music.

I would have fed Peter Paul and Mary to a croc, if I could have found one willing to devour it
Your sister has excellent taste

The croc is partial to live chickens. I also think he likes traditional high life music.
I have had Deja Vu in vinyl, cassette and CD. It is one of my desert island items.
