Emmylou’s cover of a Dolly Parton song from Pieces of the Sky
Pieces of the Sky was the one before I jumped on the train – Elite Hotel and then Luxury Liner, combined with a trip to the Royal Albert Hall to see Ms Harris and the Hot Band, put me well and truly onboard
On one of the two occasions that I stood gob smacked in front of Ms Harris, she autographed the Elite Hotel album cover with “Sweet Dreams Always, Emmylou Harris” . It hangs in my study.

Cover me duly impressed!! Mine too would hang in my house should I be as lucky.
You were a bit late to the Emmylou train, but at least you climbed onboard. Emmylou has long been a favorite of mine.

Yup, you fell in love, and it only took a couple of albums. You must have been thrilled to see how many you got to hear for the first time.
