Retail shoes is a dying business except in big box stores such as Accamy Sports or Target. I’ve been buying my work dress shoes online. Zappos is fast reasonable priced and has a no question return policy. Thankfully the X-ray machines that were zapping babyboomers feet in the 1940s with god knows how much radiation just to determine that the shoe fits.

Bob,
I don’t really think I was zapped with all that many Rads when I put my feet into the x-ray machine. It was fun to see all the bones.
I know sports stores have a huge section for new sneakers and the like. The last few shoes I bought were in a clothing store with a shoe section. My red sneakers were bought on line.
