Bowie had gone awfully quiet in the 80s after Lets Dance. He offered up two really crap albums Tonight and then Never Let Me Down. Some years passed 5/6 and out came Black Tie White Noise. I loved the title track and the rest of the album was better.
He would never match the extraordinary albums of the 70s, although the last couple before his passing were pretty terrific
Bowie is played, a lot, in my home. Most recently they released “Welcome to the Blackout” a Live show from 1978 and a good companion to “Stage”
Really nice pick today Kat – thank you

My Dear Hedley,
Usually I’m fairly unaware of most singers history with music, but not this time. I actually knew this was Bowie’s comeback of sorts. I do like this album.
You are most welcome!
