I remember those analog AC powered alarm clocks. My parents had one just like the one pictured on the night stand. Today there are kids who can’t tell time on a digital clock. How would they know which way to tighten a screw.

Bob,
I still have an analog AC powered alarm clock. I just never replaced it as the clock still works.

They don’t make things like they used to make them. They were extremely simple mechanically and kept perfect time because the power company regulates your house current to exactly 60 hertz.

I had a clock radio for years. It started to fall apart piece by piece. I threw it away when I retired.
