Gnu,
This is great music.
I don’t recognize the pictures from what seems to be a movie. Do you know?

The State Fair of Texas starts it’s two week run this Saturday and I hate to attend the fair. For thing I hate rides, especially roller coasters and Ferris wheels.

Bob,
I like both of them. Nantasket, where I had my eighth grade trip, had all sorts of rides. When I found out it was closing, my friends and I went to ride the wooden roller coaster for the last time. I rode four times, twice of them with my friends who were afraid. I loved that coaster.

minicapt,
That was wonderful. The Duchess of Kent is among my favorite pictures. She is a perfect representative of the styles of the 50’s. I love that hat and those pearls.
This was such a combination of businesses and pleasure. The kid looking at the busty woman’s picture gave me a laugh.

Our best Blues/Soul singer has died. Singing in German and English, highly respected and with energy and a great voice on stage and TV for 50 years until her unexpected death yesterday.
RIP Joy Fleming.
You had Janis, we had Joy π
