    My Dear Hedley,
    Sorry for the delay, but I had to take Gracie to the vet’s. She had issues from both ends which was the problem a couple of months back when she was so sick. I was worried and they told me to bring her right there. She is home after an IV, an injection and more pills.

    Very kind of you to remember. My kids are coming over tomorrow for the Detroit Lions, beer and. Barbecue. Today I have walked, opened some gifts, listenened to the new Waterboys CD and watched Spurs go to Everton and hammer them 3-0. Next up is Birgit’s team on Wednesday night.

    Off to Chapel at 5:30 with appropriate thanks for another year and the blessings that I have been afforded
