      minicapot,
      I had no idea coconuts were imperiled. The whole article troubled me. I used to buy coconuts along the roadside, and they’d open the top so I could have the juice. It is memories like that which will forever endear Ghana to me.

        It’s a way of making money for certain organisations.
        Bananas have been ‘imperilled’ for about 25 years, but the lack of notable solutions from the industry, and the lack of unhappiness from the buying public suggests that it isn’t a huge disaster yet.

        Bananas are about my favorite fruit. I’d hate a world without them in it to be enjoyed and savored.
