Another beautiful day with clear skies and a high of 78 degrees.
Who came up with the idea of a rabbit hiding colorful eggs in the garden? I get the egg part of Easter representing new life, but really a rabbit? During the Passover Seder the kids hide a piece of matzo (the Afikomin) that is required to finish the Seder and then hold it hostage until the Sedar leader, usually the father or grandfather, coughs up some money. That’s teaching a kid the value of capitalism. Maybe early Christians copied the idea using eggs and a rabbit instead of the grandfather. 🙂 The last supper was a Passover Seder.
I hope Gracie is doing better, large dogs sometimes suffer from hip displaysplasia when they get old.

Boston has gotten that warm once so far. We haven’t been even close to that. I’m happy when we hit 60˚.
Holding the matzo until a payoff sounds less like capitalism and more like kidnapping.
