Something dog-ish to listen to while we wait. The video is mislabeled — the song is actually called “Pound or My Dog Dad For Robert Downey” (not Junior, but his dad, RD, Senior, the director). The song is by the group Ohio Knox which was led by Peter Gallway who was previously in a group called Fifth Avenue Band. Both bands were total flops, but I always liked them and I particularly like this jazzy little tune…

Gnu,
You have found a group I don’t know. When I looked them up, I was surprised to find Joy of Cooking was one of the earliest female-fronted bands in rock history.
I like them!

Here’s another song by Peter Gallway and his group The Fifth Avenue Band. I really like the Association / Lovin’ Spoonful groove to this particular number from 1969. And, besides, the people here at KTCC are *nice folks*.

im6,
We thank you for the compliment.
What a great sound. My toes are tapping, and I’m thoroughly enjoying this song.
