the lady singing sounds a lot like the one who was in the movie Wizard of Ox and played the good witch. I cant remember that actress name though,

      morpfy,
I had to look it up. Her name is Billie Burke. I checked her out in Wikipedia. She was working in films in 1919 and isn’t listed as being in the musical “Hitchy Koo” from which this song comes.

      Gnu,
I don’t know why, but I really do enjoy these songs from so long ago. This is a way reminds me of The Shining, one of those bar scenes.

      Good music!

It says here that the singer is Olive Klein: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlrQgQFjPa4

      Heather,
I didn’t see that one. Maybe I just stopped looking after I found the fist one. it too has that sound I like on the older records.

Perhaps you know Billie Burke best as Glinda, The Good Witch of the North. That was her character in some little-known film.

    • katry Says:

      im6,
That’s what morpfy was asking as he remembered the good witch but not her name. I knew her name but didn’t think to add her good witch name, Glinda.
