Clearly some random dude on the BBC in the 1950s and I have absolutely no idea who he is. The same picture can be found on the BBC website, with no identification at all.
For whatever reason this made me think of the shipping forecasts that were broadcast daily on the radio and alerts me to conditions in the Humber or German Bight or exotically Fair Isle
Sucks to be old – cant remember anything and getting flashbacks about shipping forecasts.

My Dear Hedley,
I liked all the background maps which is why I chose this one. I didn’t notice the BB on the camera.
The shipping forecasts are unique.
I’m with you: sucks to be old, and I’m older than you.

Census guy is doing his rounds, and is taking info from Miss Smith. However, she is reticent about her age, and asks him if he had been told the ages of the Hills sisters up the road. He says, “Yes, of course”. Miss Smith responds “My age is the same as their’s.”
Census guy carefully annotates the form with “old as the Hills”.
Cheers

This weather forecast is actually right, a low from the east currently arrives and brings rain to us.
Good luck! – Weather as well as Patriots.

Birgit,
No rain anywhere in the forecast.
The storm is already dropping tons of snow on Washington, DC and will work its way up the coast to me.
The Pats will be in Denver, no snow in their forecast.
